About Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea
Situated within Saudi Arabia's pioneering Red Sea Project, Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea offers guests a nature-centric luxury resort experience. Role Overview
The Storekeeper will be instrumental in managing our storerooms to ensure operational excellence at the resort. Responsibilities include organized storage management, meticulous inventory tracking, coordination with departments, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Duties
- Oversee storage facilities ensuring items are well-organized and readily accessible
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments accurately
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records via computerized systems
- Conduct routine inventory counts and resolve variances
- Handle supply requisitions and distribute materials across departments
- Collaborate with purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels avoiding shortages
- Ensure correct storage conditions for all supplies, including perishables and sensitive products
- Enforce safety and security protocols within storage areas
- Generate detailed reports on inventory status, usage trends, and related metrics
- Assist with disposal of outdated or damaged stock
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school education or equivalent
- Previous storekeeping or inventory management experience, ideally within hospitality
- Competent with inventory management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient mathematical skills for precise inventory accounting
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs and endure long standing periods
- Knowledge of appropriate storage techniques for diverse product types
- Inventory management certification is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality supply chain processes preferred
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
