Role Summary
The Spa Attendant helps keep the spa pristine, organized, and welcoming, while supporting guests and the spa team to deliver a calm, high-end wellness experience. The role is important for maintaining excellent hygiene, presentation, and service standards throughout the spa.
Key Duties
- Keep treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and changing spaces spotless, orderly, and supplied with essentials.
- Welcome visitors and provide towels, robes, and other items they may need.
- Set up treatment rooms before services begin and restore them afterward.
- Refill towels, linen, toiletries, and other spa consumables as needed.
- Help maintain the spa atmosphere by checking lighting, music, and the overall look and feel of the space.
- Support therapists and other spa colleagues whenever assistance is required.
- Respond quickly to guest needs and service requests.
- Observe all hygiene, safety, and cleanliness procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Experience in a spa attendant role or a similar hospitality position is an advantage.
- A sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness are essential.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach are needed.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is expected.
- Basic familiarity with spa facilities and services is preferred.
