직무 설명
Position Summary
This role supports and organizes research training activities for WMC-Q students and interns. It involves maintaining records, managing data, and preparing reports to keep the training function running smoothly and in line with requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer administrative assistance for training initiatives, including updates to SOPs, handling documentation, and managing access to files.
- Monitor applications and deadlines, and identify any irregularities so division rules are followed.
- Arrange timetables, classrooms, instructors, briefing sessions, applications, and laboratory placements for student research programs (PM and Med) as well as National Training Programs.
- Help with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and placement activities across different training groups when needed.
- Work with the communications team on press materials, social media content, and outreach efforts related to research training.
- Collect, organize, and summarize training data into simple charts, reports, and process workflows as requested.
- Coordinate program delivery with partner institutions such as HMC, Sidra, QU, PHC, and EC.
- Share program materials and support research training objectives by engaging stakeholders and building awareness in the local community.
- Assist interns, students, volunteers, and trainees, including support with evaluations when required.
- Contribute to the development, improvement, or testing of systems used for research training.
- Carry out any additional duties assigned by management.
Education and Experience
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in any field and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Background in healthcare or a research environment will be considered an advantage.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong customer-oriented approach with clear verbal and written communication.
- Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a demanding setting.
- Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and careful attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Work Schedule and Additional Details
The work week runs from Sunday to Thursday. The role is classified as full time and is based onsite in Qatar. Sponsorship is not available for this position. The posting end date is 07/21/2026.

Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar began in 2001 through a partnership between Cornell University and Qatar Foundation. It is the first medical school in Qatar and a leader in coeducation at the university level, offering an integrated six-year medical program that combines pre-medical and medical education and leads to the Cornell University M.D. degree.
