About the Role

Yorb Limited invites a skilled Solution Architect to join their team based in Palmerston North or Napier. This position involves not only designing technology solutions but also taking full responsibility for delivering them, remaining actively engaged throughout the process to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive solution architectures tailored to diverse client technology environments
• Convert business requirements into secure, scalable, and customized designs
• Guide solution strategies and roadmaps aligned with client goals
• Lead the full implementation lifecycle of solution components
• Maintain hands-on involvement with Azure cloud services, infrastructure systems, networking, and security elements
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges during delivery
• Ensure implemented solutions adhere to design specifications, quality benchmarks, and security standards
• Coordinate pre-sales, delivery, and roadmap activities into actionable plans
• Manage smooth transitions of solutions into business-as-usual operations with effective support

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a technically adept and results-oriented consultant passionate about addressing complex challenges from concept through to solution delivery. Requirements include:

• 8 to 10+ years of ICT experience with significant responsibility in solution design
• Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end design and deployment of complex technical solutions
• Strong, practical knowledge of Azure, cloud platforms, infrastructure, networking, and security
• Capability to operate across high-level architecture and detailed technical implementation
• Experience in pre-sales activities, shaping solution direction, and scope definition
• Technical leadership skills balanced with close collaboration during delivery
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with technical teams and business stakeholders
• Sharp commercial insight and sound decision-making ability

Preferred candidates are current Solution Architects, Lead Consultants, or senior technical experts who enjoy taking ownership of outcomes beyond design and being deeply involved in complex technical challenges.
