About the Role
Join Deutsche Bahn, a company offering over 500 professions and secure job opportunities with promising futures for both seasoned professionals and career starters. We are looking for a qualified Sicherungsaufsichtskraft (track safety supervisor) to support our operations in Baden-Württemberg and Rheinland-Pfalz within the DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of all personnel working on the tracks from oncoming trains using various signaling techniques.
- Manage and coordinate all safety measures on construction sites to ensure smooth operations.
- Serve as the point of contact for the responsible parties in railway operations, safety supervision, construction management, and technical authorities.
- Conduct safety briefings and instruct safety personnel on their duties.
- Maintain careful handling of vehicles and work equipment under your supervision.
Candidate Profile
- Hold a valid qualification as a Sicherungsaufsichtskraft (this is distinct from the §34a GewO certification); please submit a copy of your certification.
- Will undergo operational fitness evaluation during the selection process.
- Flexible to work in shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proficient in spoken and written German.
- Possessing a valid Class B driving license and having access to a personal vehicle is advantageous.
