About the Role

We are looking for a qualified Sicherungsaufsichtskraft (track safety supervisor) to support our operations in Baden-Württemberg and Rheinland-Pfalz within the DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all personnel working on the tracks from oncoming trains using various signaling techniques.
• Manage and coordinate all safety measures on construction sites to ensure smooth operations.
• Serve as the point of contact for the responsible parties in railway operations, safety supervision, construction management, and technical authorities.
• Conduct safety briefings and instruct safety personnel on their duties.
• Maintain careful handling of vehicles and work equipment under your supervision.

Candidate Profile

• Hold a valid qualification as a Sicherungsaufsichtskraft (this is distinct from the §34a GewO certification); please submit a copy of your certification.
• Will undergo operational fitness evaluation during the selection process.
• Flexible to work in shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Proficient in spoken and written German.
• Possessing a valid Class B driving license and having access to a personal vehicle is advantageous.
