Service Technician - Ireland

About the Role

Join Ecolab's Nalco Water division and contribute to water conservation efforts by supporting water treatment systems across multiple industries. As a Service Technician based in Clonee, County Meath, you will deliver field service and technical expertise that promotes sustainability, system efficiency, and equipment protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert support and service for water treatment and filtration systems in diverse industrial environments.
• Monitor chemical usage and system functioning to ensure optimal operation and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and treatment processes, prioritizing cost-effective solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Maintain precise records of services performed and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service quality and delivery methods continuously.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s degree in chemistry, mechanical systems, or related discipline is preferred.
• Valid driver's license without restrictions is mandatory.
• Prior experience in technical service roles is essential, especially relating to water filtration or industrial/mechanical equipment environments.
• Practical plumbing skills and familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment, and mechanical, electrical, and pump systems are advantageous.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite software is preferred.

• Ability to operate in confined spaces and under varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, moisture, and dust.
• Physical capability for lifting, kneeling, crouching, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
