Position Overview
Our client, a globally recognized leader in the transport and logistics sector, is seeking a Senior IT Support Technician based in Bremerhaven, Germany. This role involves providing advanced IT support and maintaining infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support for end-users using ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Set up, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and IT hardware.
- Diagnose issues and assist with IT infrastructure components such as WLAN, networks, servers, and peripherals.
- Manage IT assets and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Assist with hardware and software rollouts and contribute to IT projects.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external service providers.
- Document incidents and resolutions thoroughly.
- Provide support to other locations both remotely and onsite as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Completed IT-related education or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in 2nd and 3rd level IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking technologies including WLAN, routers, and switches.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is advantageous.
- Fluency in German and good command of English.
- Ability to work independently, with a structured and service-oriented mindset.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driving license class B is mandatory.
