Sanitizer - External CHO

Role Overview

The Sanitizer - External supports production by handling outside cleaning and sanitation tasks for machinery and storage spaces within the Tennessee Valley division in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Work Schedule

This role follows a Sunday through Thursday schedule, with possible days off as assigned. The shift starts at 10:00 PM and continues until the work is completed.

Key Duties

• Clean and sanitize production equipment as well as storage areas on the exterior side of operations.

Physical Requirements

This position must follow the company PPE program. Safety-toed footwear is required when operating powered industrial equipment, working around it, handling palletized products, using hand trucks or dollies for deliveries, and in cooler service tasks.

The job may involve standing, walking, bending, kneeling or squatting repeatedly, climbing stairs frequently, crawling frequently, reaching overhead repeatedly, and wearing PPE/special clothing continuously. It may also include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs occasionally, along with occasional grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation. Exposure to water, chemicals, and noise may be frequent, while exposure to weather may occur occasionally. Sitting, typing, and vehicle operation are limited or not part of the role.
