Position Summary
As a Sales Executive at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts situated in The Pearl Island, Doha, Qatar, you will play a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and customer service excellence. You will engage with guests and various departments to handle reservations, loyalty programs, and guest inquiries, ensuring exceptional service standards that align with the Marriott brand.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with relevant departments such as Sales, Data Administration, and Accounting to resolve guest-related issues effectively.
- Implement sales techniques designed to boost revenue while preserving guest loyalty through up-selling and tailored offers.
- Manage the allocation of complimentary benefits (e.g., rewards points, tickets, gift certificates) to appreciate guest patronage.
- Promote and maintain brand awareness both internally and externally.
- Process all reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail swiftly and accurately.
- Update and manage Marriott Rewards information within the appropriate software during guest bookings.
- Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and concerns from guests professionally and efficiently.
- Perform general administrative support including filing, emailing, typing, and faxing to assist the Sales & Marketing team.
- Support management by aiding in employee training and motivation, serving as an exemplary role model.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets.
- Engage guests with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and expressing genuine gratitude.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, using proper etiquette and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships within the team to achieve shared objectives.
- Monitor team members’ performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Read and verify information across various formats accurately.
- Handle physical tasks involving moving or handling objects up to 10 pounds.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar sales or hospitality role.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
