About Heritage Lifecare and Stillwater Lifecare & Village
Join the team at Stillwater Lifecare & Village, located in sunny Nelson, Tasman District, New Zealand. This modern care home and hospital has 69 beds and a 43-unit village, welcoming staff from diverse cultural backgrounds unified by a commitment to compassionate care. Heritage Lifecare is a leading aged care provider in New Zealand with 42 care homes and 20 villages nationwide, recognized as the largest dementia care provider, offering a nurturing and supportive environment.
Role Overview
We are seeking three dedicated Registered Nurses to work full-time (32 hours per week) on permanent contracts, covering AM, PM, night, and weekend shifts. This opportunity allows you to have a meaningful impact on residents’ lives by ensuring exceptional care in a warm atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of committed Caregivers to deliver high-quality resident care.
- Create and continuously monitor individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments of residents.
- Build strong, enduring relationships with residents, their families, and general practitioners.
- Provide support to Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or internationally.
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) to practice nursing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- A sincere passion for caregiving combined with a positive, friendly demeanor.
- Team-oriented mindset with empathy and motivation to improve lives.
