Role overview
As a Quality Control Inspector at Arc’teryx, you will help protect brand standards by checking finished products and raw materials at the company’s owned manufacturing site, ARC’One. The role focuses on line inspections, water leakage testing, raw material checks, and close coordination with production and quality teams to identify and resolve defects.
Team context
You will be part of the Manufacturing Quality Control team, which is responsible for making sure products built at ARC’One meet Arc’teryx expectations for quality. The team’s work supports a strong customer experience and helps preserve the brand’s reputation.
What you will do
- Learn Arc’teryx product standards, including samples, testing procedures, and the quality control manual, and apply them during inspections.
- Carry out water leakage tests on the production line you are assigned to.
- Inspect workmanship and defects during in-line checks against company standards.
- Complete inspections efficiently so daily production goals are met.
- Log inspection outcomes and finish all required paperwork promptly.
- Inform the relevant supervisor whenever approved samples and production output do not match.
- Work alongside operators, team leaders, and supervisors to correct quality problems.
- Take part in assigned projects and additional duties, including 5S and housekeeping tasks.
Future scope
- Inspect a broader range of products in-line, including waterproof and non-waterproof garments, harnesses, technical packs, and similar items.
- Check raw materials and support pre-production quality processes.
What we are looking for
- Prior experience in quality control or the garment/apparel industry.
- Strong colour recognition accuracy.
- Basic spoken and written English communication skills.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and also contribute effectively in a team.
- Good organization and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills, including using a tablet and entering simple data.
- Strong people skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
- A proactive mindset for finding the root cause of issues and creating solutions.
- Comfort working with both autonomy and teamwork.
- Commitment to finding the right solution, even when it is not the easiest option.

- Basic knowledge of a second spoken language.
- Familiarity with Arc’teryx’s product range.
- A genuine interest in outdoor life and connection to nature.

Pay and benefits
The starting hourly wage for distribution workers is CAD 21.00. Based on skill assessment, the expected base pay can rise to CAD 23.00 per hour within 12 months. This base pay does not include the company’s bonus program or benefits.
