Pursuit Lead

Role Overview

This position requires handling multiple Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) simultaneously while supporting various global regions and customer groups operating in different time zones. The role demands adaptability to tight deadlines typically seen in quotation responses and requires early initiation of dependent tasks like supplier quotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple RFQs/RFIs efficiently across different geographies and customer segments.
• Support global regions, adapting to diverse time zones and client requirements.
• Meet constrained response timelines for quotations by effective prioritization and early task initiation.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to select suitable parts for projects.
• Serve as the primary contact for technical discussions with customers and suppliers, providing insights into DI product lines and technology platforms.
• Provide technical understanding of Digital Instrumentation (DI) products including clusters, two-wheeler clusters, cockpit domain, displays, and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
• Possess knowledge of hardware platforms such as Infineon Aurix, Traveo II, NxP microcontrollers, and Texas Instruments microcontrollers used in DI products.
• Understand software architecture involving Autosar, Linux, and QNX operating systems.
• Interpret feature requirements and map them onto the software architecture with minimal technical team support.
• Perform impact analysis and effort estimation for common features, coordinating with multiple technical teams as needed.
• Identify opportunities for design reuse to optimize development efforts.
• Ensure timely preparation and completion of quotation documentation such as Technical Design Reviews (TDRs), Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Labor (BOL), software development assumptions, and engineering cost inputs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, accurately recording assumptions, exceptions, and updating compliance matrices.
• Possess a foundational understanding of functional safety and cybersecurity principles relevant to the platform, including identification of safety mechanisms, software module impacts, and cybersecurity influences on software development.
• Identify risks associated with hardware platform decisions that could affect overall system performance.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience within the automotive software domain.
• Proven experience and knowledge in products such as Clusters, In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Central Display Controller (CDC), BMS, and Displays.
• Hands-on experience in embedded software development methodologies alongside Agile and ASPICE process implementations.
