  • Maintain deep understanding of DI products such as clusters, two-wheeler clusters, cockpit domains, displays, and battery management systems (BMS).
  • Possess knowledge of DI hardware platforms including Infineon microcontrollers like Aurix, Traveo II, NxP microcontrollers, and TI microcontrollers.
  • Understand DI software architecture frameworks such as Autosar, Linux, and QNX at a high level.
  • Map feature requirements to software architecture and conduct impact analysis and effort estimation independently or with minimal technical team support.
  • Coordinate with multiple technical teams to define new features and estimate development efforts.
  • Recognize design reuse opportunities to optimize development resources.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of quote documentation including customer TDRs, BOMs, BOLs, software development assumptions, and engineering input regarding effort and costs.
  • Capture all assumptions and exceptions fully and update compliance documentation accordingly.
  • Optionally, have an overview understanding of functional safety and cybersecurity, identify shared software modules (SMs) across platforms, new SMs, and cybersecurity impacts on software development.
  • Identify risks associated with hardware platform decisions that could affect system performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of four years experience in the automotive software domain.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with products such as clusters, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), center display cluster (CDC), BMS, and displays.
  • Proficiency in embedded software development processes and familiarity with Agile and ASPICE methodologies.
