Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Program Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale Data Center projects and programs. This leadership position is vital for ensuring project success through governance, stakeholder engagement, and transparent program performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex Data Center programs from start to finish.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight spanning multiple projects and streams.
- Establish and enforce governance, controls, processes, and reporting mechanisms for programs.
- Ensure alignment between project goals, client requirements, and business objectives.
- Foster accountability across diverse teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Create and maintain program dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor performance metrics including schedule, budget, scope, quality, and risks.
- Identify gaps, risks, and issues promptly and deploy mitigation strategies.
- Analyze project data to detect trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Forecast budgets, resources, milestones, and delivery timelines accurately.
- Provide regular executive-level updates on program key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Serve as the main customer liaison for program delivery activities.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior clients and executive sponsors.
- Lead program reviews, steering committees, and governance discussions.
- Present progress, challenges, and recovery plans professionally to stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations transparently regarding performance.
- Develop comprehensive risk and issue management protocols.
- Conduct periodic health checks of projects and identify areas needing intervention.
- Implement corrective actions and escalate critical issues to ensure prompt resolution.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, operations, construction, commissioning, and support staff.
- Support project managers and technical leads to uphold consistent delivery standards.
- Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor project management personnel as needed.
- Supervise program budgets, forecasts, and financial health.
- Manage contracts, variations, and change requests efficiently.
- Assist in commercial negotiations and client discussions when required.
- Ensure programs are delivered within approved financial constraints.
