Engagement Manager

About the Role

The Engagement Manager will be based in New York, United States, reporting to the Associate Vice President. This leadership position involves overseeing Agentic AI and cloud transformation projects on AWS, serving as a key liaison between enterprise stakeholders and technical engineering teams to ensure delivery of autonomous AI solutions that meet scope, timeline, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic workshops with client executives to map manual processes into autonomous AI agent roadmaps and multi-agent workflows.
• Supervise agile teams composed of data scientists, Generative AI engineers, and AWS architects, facilitating project progress without direct implementation involvement.
• Identify and mitigate specialized project risks such as hallucination control, cost-per-token budgeting, and implementing human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Collaborate with AWS customer account teams to align project milestones with AWS best practices.
• Manage project scope adherence, statements of work compliance, timelines, budget burn rates, and resource distribution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated success managing and delivering complex IT projects, particularly involving AWS cloud infrastructure and generative AI implementations.
• Strong conceptual knowledge of AWS AI offerings (including Amazon Bedrock, knowledge bases, guardrails) and agentic AI principles such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent orchestration, and function calling, enabling clear communication between technical teams and clients.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to effectively steer delivery pace and eliminate administrative obstacles for technical squads.
