About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to lead and optimize the manufacturing operations of ACDB, DCDB, and AC panels used in solar power electrical infrastructure. This position is based in Vatva, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and pertains specifically to electrical panel fabrication, distinct from solar PV module production.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process of ACDB, DCDB, and AC panels ensuring efficient workflow from raw materials to finished goods.
- Plan production schedules, allocate manpower appropriately, and manage delivery deadlines to meet operational goals.
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and ISO standards.
- Collaborate effectively with design, procurement, inventory, site, and service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Address and resolve any technical challenges arising during manufacturing and site installation phases.
- Lead the production personnel to enhance productivity, maintain quality benchmarks, and improve overall performance.
Requirements
- A Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in production management, particularly in manufacturing electrical panels for solar infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of ACDB, DCDB, and AC panel production processes.
- Familiarity with solar inverters and other electrical components used in the industry.
- Proficiency in implementing SOPs, team supervision, and coordination with stores.
- Ability to interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, and technical specification documents.
- Strong leadership capabilities coupled with effective problem-solving and communication skills.
Compensation
The offered salary ranges from ₹75000 to ₹90000 per month, approximately ₹8 to ₹12 Lakh annually.
Additional Information
This recruitment is for a position responsible for the manufacturing of electrical panels in the solar sector and excludes solar photovoltaic module production. The role is onsite in Vatva, Ahmedabad.
