Overview
Join a leading professional services firm renowned globally for combining top engineers, advisors, and scientists dedicated to shaping communities and advancing humanity through impactful projects. As a Principal Engineer specializing in Stormwater within our Auckland water team, you will lead the acquisition, management, and delivery of multidisciplinary projects that support critical infrastructure communities rely on.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead technical aspects with precision in preparing designs, drawings, specifications, reports, and other essential documentation for stormwater engineering projects.
- Develop practical and buildable designs that address complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with various disciplines and stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Engage in transformational projects including Blue-Green infrastructure networks, major transport schemes, pipe networks, culverts, water quality design, ponds, wetlands, and stream restoration initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably a Bachelor of Engineering (BE).
- Has a minimum of ten years' professional experience designing stormwater infrastructure.
- Possesses Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) accreditation or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in consulting environments is desirable.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, 12D, and other relevant design software.
- Project Management experience and relevant training are advantageous.
- Demonstrates creativity, solution-driven attitude, strong collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Holds a current, clean driver's licence.
