About the Role
Join WSP in New Zealand as a Digital Engineering Lead specializing in water infrastructure. This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects that improve communities and future-proof cities through innovative digital engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital delivery for water projects, providing hands-on modeling, design, and technical contributions.
- Develop and standardize consistent modeling workflows, quality controls, and delivery standards across teams nationwide.
- Serve as a technical advisor to leadership on digital engineering methodologies and best practices.
- Drive enhancements in tools and processes to improve efficiency and quality of project outcomes.
- Coach and build capability within project teams to elevate digital engineering skills.
- Champion adoption of ISO 19650-aligned digital delivery practices.
- Influence strategic direction for digital engineering in the water sector, ensuring innovation and continuous improvement.
- Enhance client satisfaction through reliable and high-quality digital outputs.
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience in digital engineering within civil infrastructure or water sectors, with strong skills in Civil 3D and/or Plant 3D software.
- Proven track record of leading digital delivery standardization and embedding quality workflows in engineering teams.
- Hands-on professional capable of contributing directly to project work while mentoring others.
- Experience leading or supporting digital transformation initiatives in engineering environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influence at both project and executive levels.
- A passion for innovation, embracing new ideas to continually enhance digital delivery.
- Preferred tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
