About the Role
This is an exciting developmental position within the Podiatry department at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, offering comprehensive podiatric care across both acute and community environments. The role encourages rotation through various specialties within podiatry and the broader Multi Disciplinary Teams, collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver podiatric assessments and treatments across diverse clinical settings, including acute care environments, community clinics, and patient homes.
- Manage a broad spectrum of podiatric conditions, including high-risk foot cases, diabetes-related offloading clinics, nail surgery, and rheumatology-related care.
- Accurately maintain clinical notes using various operational technology systems and coordinate with administrative teams to optimize patient care pathways.
- Prioritize patient care resources according to clinical urgency, adhering to departmental protocols.
Requirements
- Applicants should be newly qualified podiatrists or undergraduates awaiting Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) annotation.
- Willingness to engage in job sharing or flexible working arrangements.
- Commitment to working across multiple specialties and within multidisciplinary teams.
