About the Role

The Placement and Career Success Officer is responsible for facilitating employment connections for learners by fostering partnerships with employers, guiding career development, preparing candidates for interviews, and supporting job placements to ensure learners meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships with employers, HR professionals, and recruiting agencies.
  • Identify and source job and internship opportunities that align with academic programs.
  • Organize placement drives, interviews, and employer engagement initiatives.
  • Match learners to appropriate job openings and monitor their hiring progress.
  • Provide career counselling, conduct resume assessments, mock interviews, and offer LinkedIn profile guidance.
  • Track learner readiness for placement and respond to career-related inquiries.
  • Maintain comprehensive placement records, update employer databases, and produce placement reports.
  • Collaborate across teams including trainers, admissions, and marketing to support learner achievements and promote placement results.

Candidate Profile

  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related discipline; MBA in HR is preferred.
  • Experience: Between two to five years in roles such as placement coordination, recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources, career services, or corporate relations. Prior experience in educational or training institutions or staffing firms is advantageous.
  • Essential skills include excellent communication and networking, comprehensive knowledge of recruitment and hiring procedures, proficiency in career counselling and interview coaching, resume evaluation, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office tools. Strong organizational abilities, follow-through, and relationship management are also required.
