Role overview

MOURI Tech is hiring an experienced EMEA Payroll Specialist for its Hyderabad office. This is a work-from-office role with a 5-day work week. The position calls for a professional with 4+ years of payroll experience who can independently run payroll operations, coordinate with external vendors and internal teams, and maintain accuracy while meeting compliance obligations.

What you will do

Run payroll end to end for EMEA locations, with primary focus on Spain, Belgium, and the UK.
Review and validate payroll inputs such as new joiners, exits, pay changes, variable compensation, overtime, allowances, benefits, deductions, leave, and attendance data.
Work closely with payroll vendors and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll execution.
Maintain compliance with country-specific employment laws and statutory payroll rules.
Carry out payroll reconciliations, investigate variances, and prepare relevant reports.
Address employee payroll questions within the agreed SLA timelines.
Contribute to audits, payroll transition activities, and continuous process improvements.
Secure timely approvals and final sign-off for payroll runs.

Skills and experience

The role requires solid, hands-on EMEA payroll experience along with a strong understanding of statutory compliance for Spain, Belgium, and the UK. You should be comfortable working with payroll vendors and HRIS or payroll platforms, and be confident in analysis, reconciliation, communication, and stakeholder coordination. The ability to perform well in a fast-moving global environment is important.

Preferred background

Experience with additional EMEA countries will be an advantage. Prior exposure to payroll transitions or implementation work is preferred, and advanced Excel skills are a plus.

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Work arrangement: onsite (WFO). Work schedule: 5 days a week.
