Role Overview
The Patient Care Coordinator will play a crucial role in maximizing the use of the FlyteHealth Evolve platform and EMR software. This position involves managing front office tasks, addressing patient and provider needs, and optimizing scheduling according to customer contracts. Responsibilities include registering patient demographic and insurance data on multiple systems, handling appointment scheduling and rescheduling, managing patient communications including message triage, and collaborating with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and dieticians to guarantee dependable and high-quality care. There may also be opportunities to assist with onboarding and training new staff as the team expands.
Work Schedule
- Monday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST
- Tuesday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage patient appointments

Qualifications
- At least two years' experience working in a healthcare provider office setting
- Minimum two years' experience in a call center or receptionist position within a busy healthcare practice
- Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations
- Proficient computer and organizational skills
- Strong customer service abilities and capacity to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Residency located within the United States
