About the Role
Apex Harmony Lodge is seeking a Partnerships Assistant / Executive to help strengthen meaningful relationships, support volunteer engagement, and contribute to corporate communications that highlight the organisation’s work in dementia care. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and purposeful work that supports residents and their families.
The position involves working across partnerships, volunteers, events, and communications in a busy environment where coordination, follow-through, and stakeholder interaction are central to success.
Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate and carry out corporate visits, collaborative projects, and outreach activities.
- Work with partners, volunteers, and community organisations on programmes and site visits.
- Keep partner information up to date, monitor engagement activities, and assist with reporting.
- Manage follow-ups, ongoing communication, and relationship maintenance.
Volunteer Management
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating individual and group volunteers.
- Help plan volunteer schedules and support the running of volunteer programmes.
- Ensure volunteer sessions and visits run smoothly on site.
- Support appreciation and engagement efforts such as events, certificates, and communications.
Corporate Communications and Branding
- Help develop content for social media, newsletters, websites, and promotional materials.
- Maintain consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Contribute to content production, including coordination of photography, video, and design resources.
- Support updates to the website and publicity materials.
Events and Programme Support
- Assist in planning and delivering events such as partner visits, appreciation activities, and community outreach.
- Provide logistical and operational support for activities held on-site and off-site.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth programme execution.
- Help prepare documentation and post-event reports.
Administrative and Coordination Support
- Prepare presentations, reports, and supporting documents for internal and external audiences.
- Maintain well-organised records of partners, volunteers, and engagement activities.
- Support procurement tasks, vendor coordination, and budget monitoring.
- Provide general administrative support to the division.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in partnerships, communications, events, or volunteer coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, along with good interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, meticulous, and able to manage several projects at once.
- Comfortable interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Canva and familiarity with social media management.
