Manager - Facility

Overview

We are seeking a Manager - Facility to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of all plant utility systems at our site in Coimbatore South, Tamil Nadu. This role involves managing critical utility equipment and systems to guarantee seamless production support, compliance, cost control, and sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all operational activities of plant utilities including electrical systems, compressors, HVAC units, chillers, diesel generator sets, and water supply networks.
• Ensure uninterrupted utility availability to maintain continuous production without downtime.
• Develop and implement both preventive and predictive maintenance plans for all utility-related equipment to optimize reliability.
• Monitor and control energy consumption costs across electricity, diesel fuel, water, and compressed air to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain full adherence to statutory requirements, including inspections from electrical authorities, pollution control board regulations, fire safety, and other compliance norms.
• Formulate and oversee the annual utility budget while leading initiatives aimed at reducing operational expenses.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment breakdowns and drive corrective as well as preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Plan facility infrastructure expansions and capacity enhancements aligned with new production lines and upcoming projects.
• Manage relationships and contracts with vendors, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and contractor performance assessments.
• Champion sustainability programs focusing on solar energy implementation, enhancing energy efficiency, conserving water, and lowering the overall carbon footprint.
