Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Developer to join our expanding team located in Fleet Street, London, with hybrid working arrangements requiring presence 1 to 2 days per week. The offered salary ranges between £25,000 and £35,000, depending on experience. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of booking journeys for various clients within a fast-paced and rapidly scaling company.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and adjust website designs tailored to specific client needs.
- Operate effectively within an agile framework, managing shifting priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, marketing, and client service teams.
- Assist with migrating client websites onto the new booking journey platform.
- Design and build new booking funnel journeys for clients.
- Improve existing booking journeys by adding new features, layouts, and functionalities.
- Facilitate and execute A/B testing aimed at enhancing user experience and conversion rates.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies to leverage tools that improve development efficiency and quality.
- Adopt a commercially aware approach to development, understanding conversion optimization and broader business goals.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient CSS skills.
- Competent knowledge of JavaScript.
- Strong practical experience working with WordPress.
- Effective troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to learn swiftly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tailwind CSS framework.
- Familiarity with using Gutenberg blocks within WordPress.
- Knowledge of website testing methods, analytics, or conversion rate optimization techniques.
