Role overview
This contract opportunity is for a Business Analyst based in Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid work setup. The assignment runs for more than 6 months and pays $30.00 per hour. The position focuses on supporting risk and compliance workflows by reviewing cases, tracking issues, maintaining records, and helping internal teams with reporting and day-to-day operational support.
What you will do
- Examine incoming cases to spot potential risks, compliance gaps, or operational concerns.
- Evaluate risk indicators and identify matters that need additional review or escalation.
- Keep case records current in the case management platform, such as Speak Up or a comparable system.
- Enter, revise, and maintain user and case details in internal tools.
- Prepare reports and analyze case volumes, risk patterns, and operational performance measures.
- Track case movement and make sure documentation remains accurate across the full case lifecycle.
- Handle ad hoc research, support requests, and other operational tasks as assigned.
- Work with internal stakeholders to help resolve cases quickly and follow established procedures.
What we are looking for
- Prior experience in a Business Analyst, Risk Analyst, Compliance Analyst, Operations Analyst, or comparable role.
- Strong ability to analyze information and solve problems.
- Hands-on experience with reporting and data analysis.
- Comfort managing several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting software.
- Previous exposure to case management systems is an advantage.
