About the Role

Become a vital member of the Glenorchy community by joining the Glenorchy Jobs Hub team, which is focused on connecting local residents with employment opportunities. We seek a motivated Job Coach who will support individuals through their training, enhance their preparation for careers, and assist their path towards lasting employment.

This impactful role involves providing personalized support to job seekers while fostering strong connections with local employers. You will help construct employment pathways, oversee workforce development programs, and contribute to ensuring successful employment outcomes within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships with local employers and job seekers.
  • Assess and align job seekers to appropriate job vacancies, offering customized employment advice.
  • Organize training and workforce development activities tailored to meet the local workforce needs.
  • Communicate with employers to grasp their labor requirements and promote the Jobs Hub’s offerings.
  • Keep job seeker data accurate and current within the CRM system.
  • Deliver ongoing support after placement to both job seekers and employers.
  • Partner with the Jobs Hub Coordinator to analyze trends, uncover opportunities, and address community workforce demands.
  • Represent the Jobs Hub at various community events, meetings, and networking functions.
