Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join on a contract basis from any location. The position focuses on developing and maintaining scalable Java applications, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy applications and services based on Java technology.
Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established best practices.
Identify and fix technical problems in existing Java-based systems.
Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define and implement system requirements.
Engage in code reviews and participate in architectural planning and discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong expertise in Java, including Core Java and J2EE platforms.
Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or equivalent frameworks.
Understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases as well as version control tools.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and comfortable working within Agile methodologies.
