Role Overview
UCC Holding Group in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to specific business units. The incumbent will collaborate with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, ensuring sound, compliant, and commercially driven HR practices throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leadership on workforce planning, enhancing organizational capabilities, and developing people strategies.
- Handle employee relations issues including grievances, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, and absenteeism management.
- Lead performance management activities such as goal setting, performance reviews, calibration sessions, and development talks.
- Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and development pathways, focusing on key and high-potential employees.
- Provide coaching to managers on effective people management techniques, policy adherence, constructive feedback, and employee interaction.
- Assist in organizational transformations involving restructure, role modifications, employee mobilization, and demobilization processes.
- Deliver HR analytics and insights covering turnover, workforce size, absence rates, engagement levels, and related trends.
- Ensure consistent enforcement of HR policies and work alongside HR Operations to refine policies as necessary.
- Promote employee engagement, enhance onboarding processes, and implement retention strategies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
- Essential prior HR experience within the GCC region, managing diverse multicultural and multinational teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of employee relations, HR regulations, and labor practices specific to Qatar.
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- CIPD Level 5 certification or an equivalent HR credential is favored.
- Strong skills in coaching, conflict resolution, data analysis, and communication.
- English fluency is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic and/or Russian is considered beneficial.
