Job Overview
Reporting to the housekeeping supervisor, the incumbent is tasked with ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of guest floors, service areas, public spaces, and meeting rooms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the public areas to a high standard.
- Receive housekeeping supplies and organize them properly in storage areas.
- Respond promptly to requests from clients and colleagues.
- Carry out specialized cleaning projects in guest rooms, such as ventilations grills and tile grout cleaning.
- During winter, clear snow around the goods receiving area and room terraces.
- Maintain cleanliness in the Coteau dining room and meeting rooms.
- Set up meeting rooms as needed.
- Assist laundry attendants with tasks requiring two people.
- Manage the rotation, removal, and replacement of recycling, compost, and waste bins.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Basic English language skills.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Professional attitude and behaviors including teamwork, autonomy, dynamism, interpersonal skills, honesty, versatility, initiative, and organizational aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to varying situations.
- Physical capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical endurance and a strong work ethic.
