Role Overview
As a Home Care Aide, you will provide one-on-one assistance to clients within their homes, supporting them with essential daily tasks and helping to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
- Assist clients with personal care activities including dressing, grooming, and meal support.
- Run errands, shop for groceries, and accompany clients to various appointments as needed.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license or state identification card.
- Have access to dependable transportation to travel to client locations.
- Prior experience is not mandatory; however, candidates holding a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate are encouraged to apply.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including all organizational and state-mandated training.
- Compliance with state background screening protocols is required for all caregivers.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting wages are competitive, typically around $13 per hour, varying by location, prior experience, and care plans.
- Eligible caregivers may earn a $1,000 sign-on bonus, distributed in eight payments after completing 1,000 work hours within an 18-month period following a start date of June 22, 2026, or later.
