Position Summary
This role is focused on providing exceptional customer service by overseeing associate activities related to handheld terminal tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining a well-stocked and organized salesfloor and assisting customers effectively. The Department Manager leads a team to strategically plan and manage workload and customer traffic throughout the day, ensuring merchandise is recovered and displayed in a safe, clean environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service by warmly greeting and assisting customers, promoting products and services, helping them locate merchandise, aiding in purchase decisions, resolving issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Delegate and oversee completion of Customer Availability Process duties such as section work, capping bins, and stocking picks.
- Manage and verify tasks related to price adjustments and promotional features.
- Oversee modular merchandising and ensure all assigned display areas are completed accurately.
- Provide floor coverage support, assist in recovery and zoning activities on the salesfloor as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and clutter-free.
- Ensure associates take their breaks in compliance with adequate floor coverage.
- Train, coach, and provide constructive feedback to associates to enhance performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.

The position starts at a minimum wage of $17.75 per hour.
