Role Overview
Vaayu Enterprises is looking for a Field Sales Executive to manage retail-focused sales activity in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The role centers on building outlet coverage, driving order flow, keeping products available in market, and supporting monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle order booking by collecting orders, introducing additional SKUs, and working toward monthly and quarterly goals.
- Drive secondary sales by selling primarily to retailers, with occasional support for primary sales to distributors.
- Identify, approach, and onboard new retail outlets within the assigned territory.
- Maintain stock availability by checking inventory at both retailer and distributor levels and ensuring SKUs remain visible on shelves.
- Support merchandising efforts through shelf placement, visibility materials, glow signs, danglers, and standees.
- Monitor stock rotation by checking expiry dates, following FIFO practices, and reducing dead stock and returns.
- Track market competition by recording competitor offers, new launches, pricing, and shelf share changes.
- Share daily sales updates through DSRs, including orders, collections, schemes, and market feedback, with the Sales Manager or Operations Manager.
- Communicate company schemes clearly to retailers and make sure they are implemented correctly.
- In companies where required, collect outstanding dues from retailers and help maintain credit discipline.
- Train retailers on new products, product advantages, and better selling methods.
- Work toward volume targets measured in KG, cartons, or value, as applicable.
- Improve productivity by managing calls per day, strike rate, and average order value.
