Role overview
The Exterior Day Porter for the garage is tasked with keeping the parking structure clean, safe, and presentable for everyone who uses the facility. This is an outdoor-facing position centered on routine upkeep and support for Environmental Services.
Key duties
- Remove trash from the garage area on a daily basis.
- Clean elevators to maintain a neat and sanitary appearance.
- Maintain stairwells so they remain tidy and safe for visitors and staff.
- Watch for debris and other hazards and help keep the garage free of them.
- Assist with other Environmental Services tasks when operational needs require additional support.
Purpose
This position exists to preserve a clean, secure, and well-maintained parking garage environment through steady housekeeping and hazard reduction. It helps support the overall operation of the facility and contributes to a positive experience for visitors and employees.
Employment details
This is a full-time role with an onsite work arrangement. The work is primarily outdoors.
