Exterior Day Porter (Garage)

Role overview

The Exterior Day Porter for the garage is tasked with keeping the parking structure clean, safe, and presentable for everyone who uses the facility. This is an outdoor-facing position centered on routine upkeep and support for Environmental Services.

Key duties

• Remove trash from the garage area on a daily basis.
• Clean elevators to maintain a neat and sanitary appearance.
• Maintain stairwells so they remain tidy and safe for visitors and staff.
• Watch for debris and other hazards and help keep the garage free of them.
• Assist with other Environmental Services tasks when operational needs require additional support.

Purpose

This position exists to preserve a clean, secure, and well-maintained parking garage environment through steady housekeeping and hazard reduction. It helps support the overall operation of the facility and contributes to a positive experience for visitors and employees.

Employment details

This is a full-time role with an onsite work arrangement. The work is primarily outdoors.
