Position Overview
This role involves leading digital marketing initiatives to enhance revenue, increase brand interaction, and maintain the hotel's brand identity and online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and promote the hotel website as the prime channel for online distribution, ensuring content accuracy and optimized digital presence.
- Update content and inventory for dining websites (Java+, Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant, Crossroads) and retail events including Mooncakes, Festive and Chinese New Year offerings.
- Check and maintain content consistency across the hotel's websites, third party portals, directories, and inventory distribution websites.
- Collaborate with Marriott Digital Services (MDS) to implement website improvements and new functionalities.
- Drive room revenue by managing paid search strategies and online campaigns through vendors such as PLUS, ADARA, Google Adwords, Expedia Travelads, and Booking Network Sponsored Ads.
- Apply SEO best practices to enhance website ranking and increase organic traffic.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing campaign performance with analytics tools like Google Analytics and PLUS Platform, preparing reports on effectiveness and return on investment.
- Maintain and update website search ranking through keyword optimization, meta descriptions, and tags in multiple languages.
- Design and execute e-marketing campaigns to boost revenue and improve conversion rates.
- Develop and implement annual advertising plans covering all digital channels.
- Support creative and media planning for display advertising campaigns.
- Ensure online brand messaging aligns with overall marketing promotions and special offers.
- Regularly review and monitor online presence of the hotel’s competitors to maintain competitive and appealing web presence.
- Manage daily operations of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create compelling video and image content paired with strong writing skills for websites, e-newsletters, and social media.
- Assist in executing and expanding social media brand strategies as well as generating comprehensive reports.
- Provide weekly analysis of digital and social media data using listening and content management tools, including competitive benchmarking and performance insights.
- Handle marketing communications by developing brochures, collateral, and online content that comply with brand standards.
- Identify media opportunities, cultivate media relationships, and coordinate creative news-making activities such as blogger and influencer engagement.
- Monitor media coverage across print, digital, broadcast, and social platforms, assessing communication effectiveness.
