Position Summary
The Front Office Executive will manage guest check-ins by verifying identities, confirming payment methods, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys. They will create accurate guest accounts based on individual needs, enter loyalty program details, ensure rate accuracy, and handle billing verifications and adjustments. The role also includes compiling various daily reports, balancing cash receipts, securing the bank at shift start/end, and following accounting procedures including obtaining manual payment authorizations. Additionally, the Executive must notify security in case of guest theft reports.
Guest Services and Team Support
This position involves directing guests with property information and accommodations, promptly handling guest requests by liaising with relevant hotel staff, and ensuring completion of all guest needs. Front Office Executives assist in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching team members, serving as role models and supporting company policies including the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy. They foster positive workplace relationships and address employee concerns appropriately.
Hospitality and Compliance
Executives are expected to welcome guests warmly, recognize service needs proactively, assist disabled individuals, and express genuine gratitude. Clear and professional communication—both verbal and written—is essential, including answering phones with proper etiquette. The role requires maintaining high-quality standards, confidentiality of company information, personal professionalism, and safety compliance including reporting unsafe conditions and completing required training.
Physical and Miscellaneous Duties
The job demands extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and occasionally requires moving objects up to 10 pounds without assistance. Other relevant tasks may be assigned by supervisors.
