Overview
We are hiring an Environmental Maintenance Coordinator responsible for managing environmental health, sanitation, and cleanliness within the assigned properties. The role ensures adherence to legal standards and promotes a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all users.
Key Duties
- Supervise daily environmental cleaning and sanitation operations, ensuring all activities meet established service standards.
- Coordinate with cleaning contractors, pest control providers, and maintenance vendors to deliver quality services.
- Regularly inspect public amenities and communal areas to verify they meet hygiene and environmental conditions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle feedback, complaints, and requests related to environmental services promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public facilities including toilets, common spaces, and waste collection zones.
- Keep detailed records and documentation pertaining to environmental maintenance inspections and tasks.
- Engage with regulatory bodies, contractors, and various stakeholders regarding environmental health inspections and issues.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving environmental hygiene and community well-being.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least a Nitec or Higher Nitec qualification.
- Must hold NEA certification to manage hawker centers and neighborhood park toilets.
- Have a minimum of three years' experience in environmental services, cleaning operations, facility management, or environmental health.
- Experienced in overseeing cleaning teams, service vendors, and maintenance operations.
- Good understanding of sanitation regulations, hygiene standards, and environmental health best practices.
- Excellent communication abilities and skillful at stakeholder coordination.
