Job description
Job Overview
This position directs the ongoing efforts to prepare, test, and monitor adherence to information security standards and regulatory requirements relevant to product and service design, development, and deployment across the JAPAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with operational units, including Global Business Units, Corporate Security, and Legal teams to develop and uphold an all-encompassing information security, quality management, and regulatory compliance program.
- Establish standards consistent with Oracle's Software Security Assurance, Security Architecture Review, and quality systems.
- Manage information security risks and oversee the compliance team responsible for regulatory adherence.
- Provide education and training on information security practices and industry regulations impacting products and services.
- Engage with development, operations, and service teams to integrate industry regulatory mandates, Oracle’s security and quality policies, and contractual obligations into operational standards and procedures.
- Partner with Corporate Security, Business Assessment and Audit, and internal Quality System audits to continuously assess compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate legal and regulatory changes with Oracle Legal to determine the impact on products and services.
- Support Corporate Development and Legal in assessing acquisitions for potential regulatory risks.
- Manage industry certifications and certification vendors relating to standards such as PCI, HIPAA, HITECH, and ISO.

Role is categorized at career level M4. Candidates are expected to have a background suitable for senior-level responsibility in risk management, security compliance and regulatory oversight.
