Overview
Join University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Embassy Liaison Manager, playing a central role in delivering an exceptional international patient experience within a premier NHS Trust. This key leadership position involves shaping and leading the international office services to ensure seamless, high-quality care coordination among patients, embassies, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for Gulf Health Offices in London, fostering and expanding patient referrals while maintaining solid relationships.
- Oversee a team of Arabic Advocates who provide translation and cultural support to patients and families navigating the UK healthcare system.
- Lead and develop a high-performing service supporting international patients and cultivating trusted global partnerships.
- Manage daily operations, ensuring effective coordination between clinical teams, administrative staff, and external stakeholders, prioritizing quality and responsiveness.
- Utilize leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to handle complex scenarios, enhance service quality, and support organizational growth.
- Promote culturally sensitive care and guide teams to consistently achieve outstanding standards.
- Use data and insights to monitor and improve service performance.
- Bridge cultural and language gaps using Arabic proficiency to facilitate communication between patients, families, clinical teams, and embassy contacts.
