About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Business Development to spearhead initiatives aimed at expanding our business reach, forge strategic collaborations, and explore new market segments. The ideal candidate will possess a robust leadership history combined with significant experience in fields such as communications, marketing, or associated sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's business growth strategies.
- Discover and secure new business prospects and strategic alliances.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with both governmental and private sector clients.
- Lead, guide, and cultivate the business development team.
- Draft commercial proposals, negotiate contract terms, and finalize high-value agreements.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully and client expectations are met.
- Track market movements, competitor activities, and identify emerging business opportunities.
Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- More than 7 years of experience in business development, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated strong leadership qualities and team management capabilities.
- Experience within communications, public relations, marketing, branding, or creative agency environments.
- Proven success in meeting sales targets and fostering business growth.
- Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and presentations.
