Overview
Join Lidl Ireland as a Deputy Store Manager to help create exceptional shopping experiences from the shop floor to the back office. If you enjoy leading by example and aspire to advance your retail career, this opportunity on Tullow Road, Carlow awaits you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Drive a target-focused approach to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead, motivate, and develop the in-store team to achieve business goals.
- Ensure the shop floor is maintained to high presentation standards at all times.
- Oversee stock levels to guarantee sufficient inventory availability.
- Deliver consistent and excellent customer service to enhance shopper satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Completion of the Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- A full driving licence is essential.
- A passion for working in a dynamic setting with an emphasis on meeting targets and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work varied shift patterns as required.
- Previous Assistant Store Manager experience is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate demonstrates the right attitude.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary starting at €51,000, increasing to €60,000 after 3 years.
- Annual leave of 20 days, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service.
