Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Demand Planner (m/w/d) for a retail industry client based in Düren, Germany. This role is a permanent position directly with the client, offering varied responsibilities across the full product lifecycle and demand forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of products from introduction to phase-out, ensuring accurate master data maintenance.
  • Continuously monitor sales developments by comparing actual figures to forecasts and adjust predictions in response to market changes, supply chain disruptions, or sales deviations.
  • Analyze key performance indicators to assess and improve both forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
  • Present analytical results clearly and communicate effectively to all internal stakeholders.
  • Independently create and update sales forecasts while guaranteeing high forecast quality.
  • Apply statistical techniques and modern forecasting tools to produce reliable sales predictions.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to incorporate all sales-related information into planning.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed commercial education or university degree.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in a comparable role.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office and good SAP knowledge.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills with an understanding of market and industry developments.
  • Assertiveness and the ability to resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Highly developed business acumen.
  • High degree of self-initiative, resilience, and a proactive approach to work.
