About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join a leading FMCG company based in County Louth, Ireland, as a Supply Chain Planner. This role involves contributing to a high-performing global supply chain team to ensure the availability of products in international markets. Ideal candidates are analytical professionals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and excel at stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive supply plans that balance customer demand with inventory control and service level targets.
- Oversee the entire purchase order lifecycle, ensuring alignment of supply plans with manufacturing capacity and accuracy.
- Proactively identify possible supply challenges such as material shortages or logistics delays and devise mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with planning teams to accommodate forecast shifts, promotional activities, and product introductions.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and operations departments to synchronize production schedules with regional supply needs.
- Lead routine stock review meetings, offering insights and recommendations to enhance inventory health and supply chain effectiveness.
- Examine supply chain data to detect trends, boost planning accuracy, and foster continuous improvements in processes.
- Support product lifecycle activities, including new launches, transitions, and end-of-life planning.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of three years in a similar end-to-end planning role within FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven experience managing finished goods supply across multiple markets, with strong skills in inventory management, replenishment, and supply planning principles.
- Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
- A solution-oriented mindset with the capability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-moving environment.
