Job Overview
Redwood Interior is seeking a Corporate Office Designer to craft innovative workplace concepts, develop effective space plans, and create comprehensive design proposals tailored for corporate office environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate creative workspace concepts and detailed layouts supporting corporate office projects.
- Produce concept presentations including mood boards, material palettes, 2D and 3D representations, renderings, and other presentation assets.
- Design customized workplace solutions such as demountable partitions, phone booths, soundproofing systems, various workstations, meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, cabinetry, and office furnishings.
- Research trends in workplace design, materials, and new products to enhance the product offerings continually.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers for the creation of new products and refinement of existing workplace solutions.
- Develop product specifications, select materials, and prepare technical drawings and documentation focused on functionality, ergonomics, sustainability, and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with project teams including production, procurement, and installation to ensure designs are executed as intended.
- Participate in client meetings, design presentations, workshops, and site visits to facilitate project advancement.
- Assist tender submissions by preparing conceptual designs, presentation content, and technical documents.
- Maintain organizational standards, including the product library, design norms, and workplace solutions database.
Candidate Requirements
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
- Prior experience working on workplace, commercial, corporate office, or interior fit-out design projects.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, workplace ergonomics, office furniture systems, material usage, and construction detailing.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent design software tools.
- Creative, with excellent attention to detail and capable of managing multiple projects efficiently in fast-paced settings.
