Position Overview

The Cleaner is directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining assigned areas according to established guidelines and safety standards upheld by both Servicon and its clients. This role may involve regular interactions with client personnel.

Primary Duties

• Empty and clean all waste receptacles, removing paper and trash to designated disposal points.
• Vacuum rugs and carpets; sweep and dust-mop hard floors; clean spills as needed in various areas including offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public spaces.
• Dust and wipe down office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, window sills, air-conditioning vents, wall grilles, and other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove smudges and fingerprints from vertical surfaces such as doors, doorframes, light switches, entrance glass, and partitions.
• Maintain the janitor's closet in a clean and organized condition.
• Perform any additional assigned cleaning tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Possess interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time-management skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferably at least one year of custodial cleaning experience or an equivalent background.
