Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome all customers with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently handle all sales transactions, including deactivating merchandise in compliance with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
• Promote Walmart's sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity initiatives.
• Help customers by bagging and loading their purchases appropriately.
• Follow all safety procedures, including safe lifting methods and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Ensure the security and accuracy of cash registers by adhering to cash handling policies and staying vigilant of the surroundings.
• Redirect customers to the Customer Service Manager when specific service or transactional assistance is required.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.75 per hour.
