Role overview
The Business Development Manager for home interiors is responsible for bringing in new customers, building strategic partnerships, and moving qualified prospects into the sales funnel.
Key responsibilities
- Build partnerships with builders, developers, and real estate firms.
- Plan and run marketing initiatives in housing societies and apartment communities.
- Create a referral ecosystem with architects, contractors, and property dealers.
- Execute BTL activities such as canopy camps, society activations, and exhibitions.
- Work closely with telecalling and field sales teams to increase lead generation.
- Coordinate customer meetings and arrange site visits.
- Pass qualified leads to the design team for further action.
- Track sales targets and conversion performance.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Study the local market and keep an eye on competitor activity.
Skills needed
This role calls for strong communication and negotiation skills, leadership ability, hands-on experience in field marketing and business development, basic working knowledge of CRM tools and MS Excel, and a customer-focused approach to relationship management.
Preferred background
Experience in home interiors, real estate, furniture, building materials, modular kitchens, or home decor is preferred. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
