Role Overview
RS Asia Pacific is looking for a seasoned Business Development Director for the APAC region to spearhead expansion with a focus on a portfolio of high-value global and regional clients. This leadership position carries significant influence, aimed at cultivating enduring customer partnerships and driving steady revenue growth in a key strategic area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans for selected major customers in APAC.
- Forge and nurture senior executive relationships to support long-term growth objectives.
- Champion full engagement of RS's comprehensive product, service, and solution offerings.
- Discover new business avenues and enhance strategic partnerships within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with local APAC sales teams to clearly communicate RS's unique value proposition.
- Maintain consistent and impactful customer interactions amidst competitive market pressures.
- Identify, cultivate, and convert fresh business prospects.
- Enhance market penetration and influence within key regional accounts.
- Lead the regional go-to-market approach for RS PRO products and foster customer insight-driven product development.
- Take full responsibility for regional revenue performance, ensuring sustainable growth and meeting sales targets.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience managing and expanding senior-level corporate or global accounts, with a strong track record of sales achievements.
- Capability to operate across diverse countries and territories within APAC.
- Excellent commercial insight with skills to analyze and act upon financial and business metrics.
- Result-oriented approach with confidence in setting priorities and owning processes from start to finish.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
- Skilled at internal networking and collaborating across functions within a matrix organizational structure.
- Proficient in strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, and engaging top executives effectively.
Additional Information
Location options include Singapore or other APAC countries. The role reports directly to the President of APAC.
